We have our hands in many creative endeavors, most specifically in the wedding industry! Between our combined training and experience in design, photography, and as makers - linyage has taken root.

We do wedding dresses differently…
One-Of-A-Kind tops and bodysuits designed from vintage cotton lace, hand stitched to your measurements, and paired with silk skirts from our collection.

Everything is created around YOUR unique figure meaning YOU are a BIG part of the process. Our dresses are unique, of course our experience is too!
Our bridal separates are created to be styled beyond the aisle - because why wouldn’t you want to wear such a beautiful investment more than once?!
So how does this work?
1. It starts with vintage lace
Every top and bodysuit is designed from vintage cotton lace from our collection (we love hunting and gathering) which not only supports sustainable designs, but makes each piece truly one-of-a-kind!
2. Design
We design directly on a dress form! We begin by looking through past work and other inspiration you’re drawn to and have conversations about design elements, your likes/dislikes to create something one-of-a-kind JUST for you!
3. Design approval
We check in along the way with progress photos (which we think is pretty fun) and wait to get 100% design approval before we stitch anything down!
4. We stitch everything BY HAND
As you’d guess, our process is s l o w - but the hand stitching is worth the extra time for the quality and perfected fit!

Anything that is not stitched by hand is sewn on this 1950 sewing machine left to me by my grandfather!
We’re collectors
linyage was born from a love of hunting and gathering… we find our lace and buttons on our antique adventures!
Pair with a skirt…
We have a collection of silk skirts that we pair with our tops and bodysuits. Our silk organza is hand dyed in a tea bath and crinkled for our signature texture that we LOVE. The nature of the texture makes these beauties travel friendly which is a bonus for our adventure brides!

Due to the nature of our process, we work with brides ALL OVER the country (and beyond)! We stay connected through phone chats, email, texts… ya know, technology.
Needless to say, we’re pretty into long distance relationships.
