One of the best and most relevant feeling compliments I have ever received from a bride was a comparison to a tattoo artist.

“I tell my tattoo artist I want a bird and they design the bird in their vision - I choose them because I feel aligned with their art. I am coming to YOU because I am drawn to YOUR aesthetic. You are the artist. You are the expert. I am giving you creative freedom.”

Our brides trust is such an incredible gift to me as an artist and my eyes still well up from this moment of feeling ‘seen.’

ELLYN! Just wow. This entire process and experience was so special and beautiful because Elly invited me to design around her tattoos. Her artwork became the inspiration for the entire piece and it was a DREAM! I noted the more geometric shapes on her body and chose a lace that reflected those lines. The symmetry and centering of the tattoos were mirrored in Ellyn’s symmetrical bodysuit design and placed to showcase and frame her body art as well! We created a deep plunge in an angular shape to embrace the art on her chest and kept the back open showcasing the piece on her spine.

Seriously fell over backwards when I saw the linyage bodysuit on her for the fist time. The framing of her artwork took my breath away. What transpired is an absolute perfect depiction of her essence and her personality! I meannn, again. LIKE WOW GIRL! The process was a beautiful revealing of what being in ‘flow’ and designing organically from energy rather than rigidity can unfold.

To top it off, this gals styling was BEYOND! Keeping it classic for the ceremony in her linyage paired with Redwing Heritage boots. Adding a STUNNING Luna Bloom hat and a shawl for the reception. And pairing her bodysuit with green velvet pants for the dance party!

Okay girl - we already love all the ways you’ve worn your linyage but we cannot wait to see how you style it into the future! Thank you so much for gifting the creative freedom and for being such a fabulous muse. LOVE YA E!
