linyage bride Molly | Rowboat River Ceremony

THE RIVER is front and center in this love story and man-o-man, do we ever dig it!

We’d like to say ‘the dress’ has main character energy - but our roll was to design a wedding look that worked with the water and that the bride could **potentially** water ski away in… this rad idea eventually got vetoed but we’re not saying never #LINYAGINTHEWILD

If anyone’s to take on on that challenge, it’s our gal Molly!

When we say WATER takes the leading role in this midwest love story, it’s no joke. Instead of walking down an aisle, Molly was paddled to the Chippewa River ceremony by her father in a row boat draped in florals. Such a sweet moment to share together. The groom arrived solo via canoe to the island where the guests were waiting. Molly and Connor exchanged vows barefoot and ankle deep in this midwest river that holds so much sentiment to them. The newlyweds paddled away together in the rowboat having their first moments as a married couple together privately on the water - of course a cooler filled with choice beverages was in tow! The sun was blazing. Everything about it was picturesque and intentional.

All these elements meant the dress had to be easy, breezy and lightweight… which we do pretty well around here!

Molly is looking like a total babe in our silk crepe bias cut skirt and a long sleeve custom top.

What an honor to have a part in this love story and gorgeous day.
